Weber State University is offering the opportunity for furloughed or unpaid federal government employees and service members to utilize the hourly back-up child care services at the rate of $6.00/hour during the federal government shutdown. The accepted age range is 2 years (if fully potty-trained) to 5 years (if not enrolled in school.)

Weber State University is offering childcare at our Community Education Center located on 2605 and Monroe Blvd. The Center accepts subsidies from the state, allowing families that qualify for a reduced rate to pay a lower rate.

When parents have no one to turn to for child care during stress, emergencies or self-help appointments, they can bring their children to the Crisis Nursery. We are committed to providing a safe, healthy, nurturing atmosphere for all children in our care.

Many people think that families can only use the Nursery when they are experiencing an emergency. However, we love preventing emergencies and encourage parents to utilize the Nursery before they are of being overwhelmed. Prevention is just as important as intervention.
