There is a professional talent shortage in the Utah tech industry that grows every day. Utah’s tech industry averaged 3.6 percent job growth per year from 2007 to 2017, for a growth rate that was more than double that of the industry on a national level. The accelerated job growth rate compounded with Utah’s low unemployment rate created about 6,000 unfilled tech jobs in Utah.
